On Oct. 6 FKEC Office Phones may be Unavailable From Midnight until 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning

AT&T has notified FKEC they will perform planned maintenance on the router that provides our phone service on October 6, from Midnight until 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning. During this time, it is likely the phone lines for our main number—(305) 852-2431—will be down.

Should you need to reach FKEC during the phone interruption, please call (305) 852-9129. This is a temporary phone number with limited capacity, so we appreciate your patience while AT&T conducts their maintenance. If at any time you see electric equipment sparking or causing an emergency situation call 911.

AT&T should have our regular telephone service restored by Sunday at 7:00 a.m.

If Your Power Goes Out

In the unlikely event you experience a power outage while our FKEC phone system is down on Sunday (from Midnight to 6:00 a.m.) please call 305-852-9129 to report the problem. Again, we appreciate your patience as this is a temporary phone number with limited capacity.

You can also see if the outage has already been reported by checking our online Live Power Outage Viewer. If you are registered for our Outage Texting program and your power goes out you can still text “outage” to 45183 to automatically report the issue.

Secure Phone Payment and Online Service will Remain Open

This phone outage will not impact our secure, automated phone payment system. To pay your FKEC electric bill by phone, please call 1-855-385-9912. All of our online services will also remain open. You can manage your FKEC account or pay your bill online here.
