Submit Your Building Plans

FKEC is a member-owned, non-profit cooperative serving the Upper and Middle Keys from the county line to the Seven Mile Bridge with headquarters in Tavernier and Marathon, Florida.

To submit plans to FKEC, please complete the form below and attach the plans as a single PDF file. To ensure a seamless review, please include:

A comprehensive civil site plan
An electrical riser diagram and panel schedules
An architectural elevation view showing meter installation at or above jurisdictional authority requirements.

Typical review time ranges from 7-10 business days. Once the review process is complete and your plans are approved for a meter location and service entrance design, FKEC will return the approval via the email you provide. You can then submit the plans to the appropriate city or county building department to obtain your permits.
