FKEC Closes Office Lobbies to the Public

Due to a spike in local cases of COVID-19, Florida Keys Electric Cooperative will close its office lobbies to the public until further notice effective Monday, July 20. This is a precaution to protect the health of our members and employees, and do our part to limit the spread of the Coronavirus.

FKEC encourages the use of our inclusive online services available 24/7. Just about anything you can do in person, you can do online at

Co-op Member Service Representatives can also be reached by phone (305) 852-2431 or at, and the drive-throughs at both office locations remain open Monday through Friday (in Tavernier 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; in Marathon hours are limited). An emergency operator is also available around the clock.

The drive-throughs at both our offices are available Monday – Friday. Hours may vary due to staffing insufficiencies caused by the Coronavirus. Please DO NOT USE an FKEC drive-through if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have any symptoms!

New Construction or Remodel Plan Submittal
